Uurimused Tallinna linna kolme elamupiirkonna elukeskkonnast ja selle muutumisest.
Quality of housing has become a widely used term to describe and to assess living conditions that should be safe and comfortable. There are several publications and projects dedicated to housing stock renewal advocating the necessity of renovating the stock and the neighbourhood physically. At the same time the quality of life in a residential environment has to be conceptualised within the interrelated actions of residents and institutions acting in and/or for the benefit of residential neighbourhoods.
The current publication reflects on the developments in three Tallinn neighbourhoods.
The case studies discussing the residents' initiatives in the improvement of the quality of their residential environment have been carried out in three different neighbourhoods in Tallinn: Mustamäe, Kalamaja and Kadriorg.
