The present outline of Scottish culture is intended to be a study aid for the students specializing in English language and literature.
The aim of the publication is to provide the students with necessary material concerning the development of Scottish culture – mainly architecture and painting – as an essential part of British culture as a whole. It is meant for independent reading and study to supplement the course of country studies.
