Põletades pimedust. Burning the darkness. An dorchadas á dhó
Kristiina Ehin · Coicéim · 2009
Kristiina Ehini luulekogu paralleelselt eesti, inglise ja iiri keeles.
Kristiina Ehin is the latest in a long line of great Estonian female poets reaching far back into the folk tradition. This oral tradition lives on in Kristiina's work, in which she weaves Finno-Ugric mythology and folklore into her very contemporary poetry, thereby creating uncommonly striking patterns of sound and image. Her work is honest, uncompromising, deeply personal, universal, and utterly free from poetic fashion and convention. Her poetry spans centuries, millennia. It is at once modern and primeval.
