This publication is the final result of a collaborative project involving Estonian and Swedish scholars.
The key objective of this project has been to document and evaluate the factories at Kreenholm in Narva, Estonia, the environmental contexts pertaining to the industrial infrastructure, the factory housing environment, welfare institutions etc. from the following perspectives: building technology, architectural history, industrial history and human geography.
